Eagle Scout project Certificates of Insurance must be submitted to national, due to this it is imperative that Eagle Scout Candidates make an effort to organize the forms needed for their project and submit them at least 2 weeks before the project start date — ideally 4 weeks in advance.

The 2-week processing period begins once they’ve provided all the required information:

• A completed COI Request Form
• A brief description of the project (e.g., gardening, building, assembling, etc.)
• Any contracts with Hold Harmless/Liability language, filled out but unsigned

The National office has stressed they are no longer accommodating last-minute COI requests, and we do not have control over their processing timeline.
