2022 Membership Success

2022 Membership Success

2022 saw the Patriots’ Path Council end with Membership growth. That growth is due to the support of all our units. Our Cub Scout Packs grew by 3.8% and our Explorer Post doubled in size from 2021. This allowed us to finish with a 1.1% overall growth. We hope that 2023 will allow us to surpass our council goal of 11,000 total youth.

Community Service (Toys For Tots)

 TOYS FOR TOTS

Our Community Service Committee organized another successful Toys for Tots collection this year. Almost 1,000 toys were donated throughout the council. The committee partnered with Brookdale Assisted Living and Just Subs in Hillsborough, Longhorn Steakhouse in Parsippany, the Flintlocks and units in all 4 districts to promote and collect the toys. They also collected at the service center and the Mountainside Scout shop. Thank you to Community Service Committee Chair, Linda Cummings and all the members of the committee for their hard work on this project.

Scout Sunday 2023 Patches

A Scout is Reverent, so stop in to either of our Scout Shops to purchase our brand-new Scout Sunday 2023 patches! Or you can email [email protected] to reserve a quantity for your unit. Supplies are limited!

The BSA designates the Sunday that falls before February 8 as Scout Sunday, which is the primary date to recognize the contributions of young people and adults to Scouting. However, it also is permissible for a local church to celebrate on the Sunday most acceptable to the congregation, so check with your church or Chartered Organization.
