National Jamboree Leader Opening
Our council contingent for the 2026 National Jamboree currently has an opening for an adult leader. This role supports and guides Scouts throughout the experience and offers the opportunity to be part of the excitement of the National Jamboree. Leaders interested in serving are encouraged to complete an application. Interviews will follow shortly after applications are received.
There may also be openings available for Scouts. Families interested in signing up a Scout for the National Jamboree should register using the waitlist option. Although all new registrations will initially appear as waitlisted, each registration will be reviewed and participants will be placed into available slots within the contingent as space permits. Registrations will remain on the waitlist if no immediate openings are available.
The National Jamboree will be held at The Summit Bechtel Reserve in West Virginia, with travel scheduled for July 21 and a return on July 31.
Registration and additional information can be found at PPC National Jamboree
Scouts Sunday – Pray for Ukraine Divine Liturgy on March 22, 2026 at Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church in Hillside
Immaculate Conception Ukrainian Catholic Church, located at Liberty Ave & Bloy St in Hillside (Union County), NJ, invites all area Scouts, Scouters, and Scouting families to its Scout Sunday – Pray for Ukraine – Divine Liturgy (Mass) to take place on Sunday, March 22, 2026 at the church. The Sunday Divine Liturgy begins at 10:45am but Scouts are asked to arrive at 10:20am. This is an opportunity for our Scouting family to continue to pray and show solidarity with local members of our Ukrainian and Ukrainian-American community as fighting, pain, and uncertainty continue to envelop the region. Participating Scouts are invited to bring their unit flags for display during the service. The service will be followed by snacks during which Mr. Orest Hrycak, a local Ukrainian-American Scouter will make short remarks about Scouting in Ukraine.
