Hazardous Weather Training is part of the training series for all Direct Contact Leaders. If you have been trained in your position but this training is not current (within the last two years), your profile will automatically mark you as NOT trained in your position.
Who Needs This Training?
Cubmasters, Assistant Cubmasters, Den Leaders, Assistant Den Leaders, Scoutmasters, Assistant Scoutmasters, Crew Advisors, Associate Crew Advisors, Exploring Advisors, Associate Exploring Advisors, and Sea Scout Adult Leaders.
As per the Guide to Safe Scouting: Health and Safety , “At a minimum, one leader present is current in Hazardous Weather Training for all unit types. It is recommended that all leaders complete this training every two years.”

Locate Hazardous Weather Training to check your last completion and expiration date
If expired or close to expiring, click “Retake Course” or visit: https://training.scouting.org/courses/SCO_800/
Complete the 28-minute training to stay certified for two more years!
