ServSafe® Manager Certification

The ServSafe® Manager Certification, is a training recognized for compliance by the BSA’s National Camp Accreditation Program (NCAP) standards for individuals cooking at different council or district events such as Order of the Arrow, trainings, camporees and for camp staff.  It is also a perfect fit and highly encouraged for those cooking while on a unit outing.

The delivery method of the course will be lecture style with interactive book practice exams. While the official curriculum will be followed, Scouting volunteers can benefit from this course as information will be provided in how to best use equipment in camp kitchens and out in the field. Every effort will be made to cover all pertinent content but it is in each individual’s best interest to review the text on their own in addition to in-class instruction.
